Only those organisations that sign up to the Compact will be able to use the procedure for sorting out disagreements that is set out in the document. Any public, voluntary and community sector organisation can sign up to the Compact.

For Public Sector Bodies and Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations that are in a funding relationship, as well as the shared commitments, there are particular commitments set out in the Compact that they will also have to sign up to. These are set in the Annex to the Compact.
